Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig Breeders United is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and responsible stewardship of the Gloucestershire Old Spots breed. We welcome breeders, farms, youth members, and supporters who share a commitment to protecting this historic heritage breed.
Membership provides access to club resources, educational materials, breed information, and opportunities to participate in the continued growth and preservation of the GOS community.
Membership applications may be submitted online. Payments may be completed by PayPal, credit/debit card, or mailed check. All memberships are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Membership Options
Breeder Individual Member
Open to individuals who own registered Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs and are actively engaged in their daily care and husbandry. Breeder Individual Members may vote, hold office, post free pig advertisements, and access the Herd Book and Coefficient of Inbreeding calculator.
Farm Membership
Designed for spouses, partners, or farm co-owners operating under the same farm name. Farm Membership includes the same privileges as Breeder Individual Membership. Multiple names may be listed under the membership; however, the membership carries one vote.
Youth Membership
Open to individuals under 18 years of age. Youth Members are encouraged to participate, learn, and become involved in breed preservation. Youth Membership is non-voting.
Lifetime Member
Includes the same privileges as Breeder Individual Membership with a one-time lifetime payment. This is a wonderful option for long-term supporters committed to the future of the breed.
Membership Approval
All memberships are subject to approval by the GOSPBU Board of Directors. Membership approval helps ensure that the organization continues to uphold its mission, protect the integrity of the breed, and maintain a responsible, preservation-focused breeder community.
