As a united organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Gloucestershire Old Spots pig, GOSPBU expects its members to conduct themselves with honesty, transparency, and respect in all interactions with buyers, breeders, fellow members, and the broader agricultural community.

As a Member of GOSPBU, I Will:

1. Demonstrate Integrity Maintain a high standard of honesty, professionalism, and integrity in all activities related to my Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs and to GOSPBU.
2. Provide Quality Animal Husbandry Provide all GOS pigs under my care with proper nutrition, housing, health management, and humane treatment that reflects responsible livestock ownership.
3. Maintain Clear Identification Maintain an organized and clear GOS pig identification system on my farm in accordance with the identification standards adopted by GOSPBU.
4. Keep Accurate Farrowing Records Maintain accurate and detailed farrowing records that support confidence in the pedigree of all GOS pigs submitted for registration.
5. Register Quality Animals Register only GOS pigs of quality that meet the standards of conformation specified by GOSPBU.
6. Conduct Fair and Open Transactions Ensure all transactions involving GOS pigs are handled with fairness, openness, and clear communication between buyer and seller.
7. Register, Record, and Transfer Promptly Be prompt and accurate in registering, recording, and transferring all breeding animals when required.
8. Represent GOSPBU Responsibly Act as a representative of GOSPBU by educating breeding stock customers about the characteristics of GOS pigs, responsible ownership, and the policies and services offered by GOSPBU, including use of the GOSPBU website.
9. Support Long-Term Breed Viability Make decisions that support the long-term viability of the Gloucestershire Old Spots breed, its producers, and the customers who depend on ethical breeders.
10. Uphold GOSPBU Standards Support and uphold the bylaws, standards, policies, and mission of Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig Breeders United.
