Chilthorne Muriel farrowed her second litter for us yesterday afternoon. She didn’t get started until about 7 pm and when we took a look there were only 2 but Julie walked to the back of the hut to look in and by that time there were 3. We left her alone and I went out at 8am this morning and there are 13. The sire is UK Peacehaven Sambo and these piglets are all purebred UK GOS. They have a CI of .9% - just under one percent - that is exactly the reason we imported them and there just wasn’t any way to get the numbers down these low with our American GOS. We will be selling a select few in breeder pairs for $450.00 per piglet. If you can pick up here that’s the best but if they have to fly I prefer United Air Cargo.
